This includes but is not limited to: wearing your seatbelt when the vehicle is in motion, safely exiting and entering the flow of traffic, using hands-free cellular features, and obeying all traffic laws.Act as a representative of the company, operating a company-provided tractor-trailer with professionalism and courtesy to other drivers.Operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Prioritize safety in all aspects of driving, loading, and unloading.Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately, including delivery logs, invoices, inspections, and hours of service logs. Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for each delivery.Maintain open communication with dispatch, warehouse, and leadership. Report any delays, issues, or changes in delivery schedules promptly.Operation of computer/ internal freight monitoring systems required.Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to adapt to changes in delivery routes or schedules. Available for around the clock shifts to accommodate freight movements.What you have:Authorized to work in the United States.Possess a valid state issued driver's license for at least 3 yearsValid Class A Driver's License with a clean driving record.Must possess valid DOT required medical card and be registered with DOT2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience and/or be a graduate of a State certified and Licensed truck driving school.Comfortable operating a tractor-trailer in all types of weather conditionsWillingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you toAbility to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodationNice for you to have:HS Diploma or equivalentBilingual preferred (English/Spanish)Experience working in a food based environment
