Work location Texas Health Dallas - 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Nights 7pm-7am; weekend and holiday requirements Training Must be able to attend orientation and training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire Float Pool Department Highlights Work with a multi-disciplinary team Work with ill patients to provide life-saving care The opportunity to work with a diverse patient population Self-Scheduling that helps with work life balance Opportunities for educational and career growth Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required 1 year of ICU experience strongly preferred Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly and ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program for staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire and NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program For staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
