Job Description Job Summary \n Viking Anesthesia , an Orthopedic Care Partners (OCP) company, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our team serving premier orthopedic ambulatory surgery centers throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. \n This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a highly specialized, orthopedic-only environment with an exceptional work-life balance. Physicians enjoy no hospital responsibilities, no call, no nights, and no weekends , while working alongside experienced CRNAs in efficient, high-quality outpatient surgery centers. \n Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. \n Practice Highlights \n \n Practice exclusively in orthopedic ambulatory surgery centers \n Three ASC locations throughout West St. Louis and St. Charles Counties \n Employed by Viking Anesthesia , an Orthopedic Care Partners company \n $2700/day \n No hospital coverage \n No call \n No nights \n No weekends \n Typical schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM \n Supervise experienced CRNAs and perform regional nerve blocks \n Rarely required to personally staff anesthetic cases \n Flexible part-time opportunities available for vacation coverage and intermittent scheduling \n Independent contractor (1099) opportunity \n \n Qualified Candidates \n \n Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology \n Experience performing ultrasound-guided regional nerve blocks is required \n Comfortable supervising CRNAs in an outpatient surgical setting \n Excellent communication and collaborative skills \n Eligible for Missouri medical licensure \n \n Why Viking Anesthesia? \n Viking Anesthesia is dedicated exclusively to providing anesthesia services for orthopedic surgery centers, allowing physicians to focus on high-quality outpatient musculoskeletal care in a predictable, efficient environment.
