Automotive Service Technician

Job OpportunityPrecision Tune Auto Care is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles while delivering high-quality service and supporting shop productivity and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, filters, etc.)Diagnose vehicle issues using inspection processes and diagnostic toolsRepair vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, steering, engine, and electrical componentsConduct digital vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisorsComplete repairs efficiently while meeting productivity and quality standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all company processes, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelinesAssist in identifying additional service opportunities through proper inspectionsDocument all work performed accurately on repair ordersAutomotive technicians typically inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles while performing preventative maintenance to keep them operating safely and efficientlyQualificationsPrior automotive technician experience preferred (entry-level candidates welcome with training mindset)Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to use diagnostic equipment and toolsValid driver’s licenseAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWillingness to learn and grow within the companySkills & CompetenciesAttention to detail and quality workmanshipStrong work ethic and reliabilityTeam player with positive attitudeAbility to work with hands and perform physical tasksBasic understanding of automotive systems and repairsSuccessful technicians combine technical knowledge, problem-solving, and customer awareness to complete repairs and communicate needs effectivelyWhat We OfferCompetitive pay (hourly / flat rate based on experience)Ongoing training and career advancement opportunitiesTeam-focused work environmentConsistent workflow and growth opportunitiesWhy Precision Tune Auto CareAt Precision Tune Auto Care, we focus on delivering exceptional service while developing our team.
