Job Title

Travel – Registered Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Minimum three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends | Projected Start: July 1, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management across inpatient units
• Rotate through all inpatient floors including two 10-bed ICUs as part of standard floating policy
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounding and collaborate with multiple clinical disciplines to enhance patient care
• Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
• Perform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
• Adhere to patient experience standards including the use of AIDET communication framework

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Experience in ICU, ER, and critical adult care settings; Level 2 NICU and pediatric experience within scope
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems (Meditech experience a plus)
• Ability to work rotating weekends and float throughout all inpatient units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, or Phillips V60+ platforms
• Background in both critical care and emergency care respiratory management
• Familiarity with bedside bronchoscopy assist and arterial line insertion procedures
