Our client is a NYC based corporate relocation and logistics company. They are seeking a full-time, on-site Dispatcher role based in Secaucus, NJ. The Dispatcher will oversee coordination and scheduling of daily operations, including assignments for movers, delivery personnel, and transportation.
This is an ONSITE role in Secaucus, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations for a fleet of trucks for office relocation and storage services.
- Oversee coordination and scheduling of daily operations, including assignments for movers, delivery personnel, and transportation.
- Effectively communicate with team members, managing logistical challenges,
- Maintain accurate records, and ensuring timely execution of service commitments to clients.
- Ability to solve problems and manage on-the-spot challenges while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Experience with dispatching software or similar tools, as well as a working knowledge of routing and transportation best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to handle scheduling and logistics effectively.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members and address client needs.
- Ability to solve problems and manage on-the-spot challenges while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Experience with dispatching software or similar tools, as well as a working knowledge of routing and transportation best practices.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and thorough records.
