Production Coordinator

Production Coordinator K+S Services (a SunSource Company), the industry leader in repair and refurbishment of manufacturing equipment is seeking a Production Coordinator in our Southgate, MI facility. This position entails several essential responsibilities, including warehousing, inventory, shipping and receiving processes. Ensuring that all required information is documented, and the company work order system is updated accordingly. General Summary Supervise and Coordinate activities of all production and production support workers involved in the repair process. Sort out items that cannot be repaired in‑house and route to appropriate department. Assign and distribute work to technicians as required. Coordinate and process evaluations, approvals, and returns as required per customer instructions. Assist repair technicians with procedures and lend assistance as needed. Assist Shipping Rec / Parts Room / OSS departments as required. Job Responsibilities Process received items for evaluation and pricing Assign work to employees based on capability, priority and delivery requirements Interface with Customer Service and Sales to resolve issues and answer questions Coordinate changing delivery/ priority order requirements as necessary Monitor delivery schedules for on time delivery of orders Coordinate component pa rt/ replacement unit needs with appropriate departments Coordinate processes and employee activities to meet company measurables 5S events and reorganization Projects Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor/ manager Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong computer skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Effective communication skills (oral/ written) Basic negotiation skills Ability to multitask No lifting restrictions Ability to work on your feet for extended periods Minimum High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience preferred Why You’ll Love Working for Us Industry-competitive salary with bonus opportunities Medical, dental, vision insurance 401K Upward mobility opportunities Training opportunities We are an equal opportunity employer.
