Clinical Dietitian

Overview Garden City Hospital is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutrition care to patients on a Per Diem basis. Responsibilities Provide appropriate patient nutritional care. Assess the nutritional status of patients, formulate a care plan, coordinate its implementation, and evaluate its impact and effectiveness. Provide nutrition education to patients and families. Approve supplements as appropriate and assist in the development of a hospital formulary suitable for the patient population. Qualifications Education and Work Experience Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement). One year healthcare experience desirable.
