Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro unit with a 1:3–4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret EKGs using centralized telemetry systems
• Care for patients presenting with neurological conditions, CVAs, pulmonary conditions, and general telemetry diagnoses
• Manage Airvo and high-flow oxygen equipment as needed
• Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapy (24/7), and pharmacy (24/7) to coordinate patient care
• Fulfill every-other-weekend shift requirement

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or related RN experience (within the past 6 months)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must successfully pass the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to placement (maximum of 2 attempts; no exceptions)
• Must pass a Simulation Lab assessment on day one of orientation
• Ability to interpret EKGs independently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for neurological, CVA, or pulmonary patient populations
• Familiarity with centralized telemetry monitoring systems
• Prior experience working alongside Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in a team-based care model
