Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled RN specializing in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) for an exciting travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role requires an RN with expertise in critical care, particularly in handling post-surgical and multi-system trauma patients. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - SICU

• Provide patient care in a 13-bed SICU with a typical nurse to patient ratio of 1:2
• Manage drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin
• Collaborate with intensivists and leverage telemedicine support
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and interpret telemetry strips
• Float to lower-care units as required, managing full patient teams

Requirements of the RN - SICU

• Active IL license or proof of license application process
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in Level I trauma settings and ICU
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
