Requisition No: 876888 Agency: Department of Health Working Title: OPS DENTAL ASSISTANT - 64918026 Responsibilities Perform chair‑side assistance to the dentist, including preventive, therapeutic, and surgical clinical procedures such as dental prophylaxis, sealants, restorations, and extractions. Assist with placement of dental sealants, exposure of dental x‑rays, and pediatric patient care. Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certificate. Florida Dental Radiography Certificate. Certification in Basic Life Support. Willingness to accept the offered salary. Preferred: Graduation from a formal accredited dental assisting school and at least six months of dental assisting experience.
