Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Evening Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Evening Shift) in Tucson, Arizona.

Location: Tucson, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: The schedule consists of 5x8 evening shifts from 14:30 to 23:00. RNs are expected to take 4-5 weekday call shifts and 2-3 weekend call shifts per month, with a return time to the hospital within 30 minutes of callback.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at this facility will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. This position requires circulating experience and familiarity with robotic surgery, general surgery, gynecology, and urology. The RN will be responsible for ensuring a sterile environment, coordinating the surgical team, and monitoring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulating duties in the operating room.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional status pre- and post-operatively.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and protocols in the OR.

Required Experience

• Proven experience in circulating duties in the Operating Room.
• Experience with robotic surgery, general surgery, gynecology, and urology.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current nursing license in the state of Arizona.
• BLS certification.
