About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN - Med/Surg Specialty: RN - Med/Surg Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required Must-Have: Recent EPIC experience Description: Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Collect relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situation. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develop a care plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implement the care plan and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe and caring environment. Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Commit to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients by complying with required vaccinations and guidelines.
