Description


The Painter is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the hotel's appearance through expert painting, finishing, and surface preparation, ensuring all areas reflect the property's high-quality standards. This role directly supports the overall guest experience by keeping the environment polished, professional, and welcoming.

HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Wash, scrape, sand, and smooth interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing, lacquering, or applying other finishes.
• Install, repair, and maintain drywall, wall texturing, and ceiling acoustic texturing.
• Erect scaffolding, staging, ladders, and planks to reach necessary work areas.
• Examine and maintain painted surfaces, trimming, and fixtures both inside and outside the property.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, shading stains, and clear finishes.
• Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper or fabric to walls and ceilings.
• Maintain logs of completed work and submit finished work orders to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Six years of painting experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
