- Perform other duties and special projects as determined by the Wellness Director to support the department's work.
- Attend required staff meetings and training.
- Learn and implement new EHR functionalities.
- Assist with other department needs on an as-needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact effectively with staff, community members, outside agencies, and the public.
- Capacity to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of the local Indian community's customs, traditions, and social dynamics.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report data clearly.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and coordinate activities within the agency and with outside groups.
- Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for Native American culture, traditions, and socioeconomic needs.
- Represent the agency professionally within the community.
- Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects efficiently.
- Be punctual and reliable with minimal absences.
- Ability to obtain CPR certification if required for the position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or formal training in health-related fields, parenting courses, domestic violence, or mental health is preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to complete required health training programs.
- Proficiency with computers and data entry.
- Valid California driver's license and car insurance sufficient to be insurable.
