In this school-based role in Aston, PA , you'll work directly with students in an emotional support classroom, providing behavioral and emotional support throughout the school day. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll implement evidence-based behavioral strategies, support student growth, collect data, and help students achieve success academically, socially, and emotionally. We offer: + School-Based Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM + Competitive Pay: $21.00-$26.50/hour based on education and experience + Strong Clinical Support: Work closely with experienced BCBAs and supervisors + ASCEND Career Accelerator Program: Student loan repayment assistance, continuing education support, and BCBA supervision hours available + Comprehensive Benefits: Eligibility begins just 30 days after hire, including paid sick leave ( + RBT Training Provided: We'll help eligible candidates earn their RBT credential if not already certified In This Role, You Will: + Support students with emotional, behavioral, and social needs throughout the school day + Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-building programs developed by a BCBA + Assist with classroom instruction and school-wide PBIS initiatives + Collect and maintain accurate behavioral and student progress data + Reinforce positive behaviors and teach replacement skills + Assist with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) + Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and other educational professionals to support student success + Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment About DESS Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) partners with school districts to provide evidence-based support in behavioral intervention, special education, academic programming, and student mental health. Our team helps schools better serve students with complex behavioral, cognitive, communication, and learning needs. \#sponsored Qualifications Education : High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited college/university in special education, psychology or other related field; RBT certification strongly preferred. Will consider candidates in process to complete RBT Certification. Experience : Must have one year of experience working directly with children or adolescents who experience behavioral challenges. Experience with crisis intervention/CPI Safety certification preferred. Previous RBT experience preferred, but training and supervision will be provided. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to handle crisis level behavior.
