Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across a variety of acuity levels
• Perform and assist with procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care (TPA administration), and chest pain/heart alert protocols
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Participate in floating to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy — all travelers are required to float; candidates will be informed of the floating policy during the interview process
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License required — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS or ENPC certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a high-acuity environment
