The Digital Accessibility Specialist supports the University of Oklahoma's efforts to ensure digital content, systems, and technologies meet ADA Title II requirements. This role partners with faculty and staff across campus to evaluate accessibility, provide guidance, and support training and outreach efforts that improve the usability of digital resources. The position plays a key role in coordinating university-wide accessibility initiatives, supporting policy and governance efforts, and helping the institution reduce compliance risk.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
- 1 year of experience with computer programming, computer systems or related field.
Department Preferences:
- Knowledge of ADA Title II requirements and digital accessibility standards.
- Experience evaluating digital content and platforms for accessibility (e.g., websites, LMS content, documents, multimedia).
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (e.g., automated scanners, screen readers, keyboard navigation testing) and understanding of common accessibility issues in web and instructional technologies.
- Experience supporting accessibility in an academic or higher education environment.
