Must perform lab tests ordered by providers in an accurate and timely manner. Must perform venipunctures and capillary draws on Inpatients, Emergency Dept patients and Outpatients as required. Must perform preventative maintenance and other quality assurance activities to promote continuing excellence within the laboratory.

• Specimen processing/mailouts
• STAT Chemistry (Roche analyzers)
• Hematology (Sysmex analyzer) + Manual
• Coag (STAGO Analyzer) PT/PTT/D-Dimer
• Blood Banking (test tube) - RBC, FFP, Albumin, Micro gram stain, +rapid strep/flu/rsv
• Dress code: Scrubs or business casual, with white lab coat

Average test per day: about 100 tests (onsite) per day - that counts a panel as 1 test (when it can actually be 12 in a panel) and they send up to 200 out to their reference labs.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload will not be approved!

Traveler must be willing to work Thanksgiving Holiday (and Friday and weekend after if needed/scheduled). RTO during these holidays will not be approved. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Thanks!

Local travelers - those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible for this need.

Submission requirements:

• 2+ years of Med Tech experience - Required
• Experience with hematology, blood bank, chemistry, waived kit testing and phlebotomy - Required
• Multiple travel contract experience required

• Work History
• Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (ASCP, BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)

Certification requirements:
