Golf Shop Attendant

Primarily located in the Golf Shop, answering phones, scheduling tee times, servicing members individual golf needs and maintaining and selling Golf Shop merchandise and apparel.

Job Tasks

1. Responsible for managing the daily golf operations at Lake Arrowhead Country Club.
2. Primary recipient of phone calls to schedule tee times, provide members with dates and times for upcoming events and to know basic details for upcoming tournament information.
3. Execute the proper opening and closing procedures on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
4. Assist the Director of Golf and Assistant golf Professional in merchandising, selling and ordering of special ordered goods for the golf shop daily.
5. Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment in the Golf Shop as well as in down time finding opportunities to clean, re-fold and tidy up the Golf Shop when needed.
6. Should be willing and able to operate the basics of our North Star inventory and POS computer system with guidance from the Director of Golf and Assistant golf Professional.
7. Should be able and know how to operate the USGA handicapping computer to aid members and guests with posting their scores.
8. Creatively help display and organize merchandise inventory for the golf shop.
9. Be familiar enough with the products and services that are offered in the golf shop to be able to explain the basics to members and guests with regards to special ordered merchandise, club, golf lessons and any other service provided by the golf shop.
10. Maintain and reflect positive attitude towards members, guests, vendors, fellow employees and anyone else who walk into the golf shop each day.
11. Aid the Director of Golf and Assistant Golf Professional in conducting an end of month inventory.
12. Performs other appropriate task assigned by Assistant golf professional & Director of Golf.
