We are actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis, primarily working Tuesdays starting January 2026. This opportunity is perfect for an enthusiastic hygienist who enjoys working in a collaborative setting and making a positive impact on patients’ oral health.

Dental hygienist

Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health status.

Perform professional dental cleanings and scaling procedures, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to protocols.

Educate patients on preventive oral health care and hygiene maintenance.

Collaborate effectively with dentists during examinations and dental treatments via four-handed dentistry techniques.

Take, interpret, and manage medical imaging such as x-rays to assist in diagnosis.

Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Monitor vital signs and patient comfort throughout procedures.

Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.

Support pediatric and general dentistry care initiatives within the practice.

Stay current with dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and anatomy knowledge pertinent to clinical excellence.

part-time $48 - $53 per hour

Tuesday: 7 AM – 3 PM

Wednesday: 7 AM – 4 PM

Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM

Friday: 7 AM – 2 PM

Saturday & Sunday: Closed

• Licensed dental hygienist

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license as required by the state of Massachusetts.

Proven experience working in a dental clinical setting, preferably with familiarity in pediatric dentistry.

Proficient in HIPAA compliance and infection control procedures.

Strong clinical skills in dental prophylaxis, scaling, and patient care education.

Experience with electronic health records (EHR), ideally Eaglesoft and Dexis software.

Knowledge of medical coding, patient assessment, and charting.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to provide empathetic, clear patient counseling.

Ability to perform thorough patient monitoring and vital sign assessments.

Experience in four-handed dentistry to assist dentists efficiently.

Familiarity with pediatric dental care and related protocols.

Strong teamwork and adaptability in a busy dental environment.
