This position is located in Arlington, VA, with a hybrid working model available. CGI Federal offers a Database Architect role in the Intel sector, advancing national security through cutting‑edge technology. The successful candidate will stay current with emerging technologies and apply this knowledge within a collaborative team to deliver state‑of‑the‑art capabilities. Responsibilities Create data models and blueprints for relational, NoSQL, and cloud‑based databases. Develop integrated data systems and ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure. Implement strategies to protect data integrity and maintain accuracy and consistency. Optimize database performance, ensuring scalability and efficient handling of growing data volumes. Collaborate with software developers, IT teams, and business leaders to align data strategies with business objectives. Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies and platforms. Establish policies, standards, and best practices for data management and access. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 5 – 10 years experience in database architecture. TS/SCI clearance required; ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired. Proficiency with multiple database management systems. Strong SQL knowledge for querying and managing databases. Experience with cloud‑based data storage and management solutions. Skill in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. Ability to design robust, scalable, and secure data architectures. Strong problem‑solving skills related to database performance and functionality. Compensation Estimated compensation range in the U.S.: $100,000.00 – $200,000.00.
