About the Opportunity – Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support financial operations within a fast-paced real estate environment. This role is responsible for managing receivables, maintaining accurate records, and partnering with internal teams to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities – Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

• Process and post tenant, customer, and client payments accurately and timely
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account questions
• Prepare invoices, account statements, and collection correspondence as needed
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
• Collaborate with property management, accounting, and operations teams to ensure efficient cash flow management
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting requirements
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications – Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience required
• Experience within the real estate, property management, commercial real estate, or related industry preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of Yardi, MRI, or similar real estate accounting platforms is a plus
