About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Education Manager / Nurse Educator for a 13-week contract opportunity in Juneau, Alaska. This leadership role is responsible for developing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating clinical education programs that support nursing competency, regulatory compliance, professional development, and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, teach, and evaluate clinical education, competency, simulation, and professional development programs for nursing and clinical staff.

Coordinate regulatory and certification education including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and other required clinical training programs.

Lead clinical education staff and collaborate with nursing leadership, department managers, and performance-improvement teams to identify educational needs and implement evidence-based training.

Oversee trauma registrar and trauma education activities, including regulatory compliance, registry maintenance, designation support, and clinical education initiatives.

Evaluate educational outcomes, conduct audits, develop improvement plans, and maintain effective communication with clinical teams and organizational leadership.
Requirements

Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) License Required at Time of Submission; Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required.

Minimum 5 Years of Professional Nursing Experience Required, Including at Least 2 Years as a Staff RN in ER, ICU, OB, OR, or Another Clinical Specialty.

Minimum 3 Years of Professional Clinical Instructor / Nurse Educator Experience Required.

Minimum 2 Years of Supervisory Experience Required; Strong Clinical Leadership, Program Development, Adult Education, and Staff Development Skills Required.

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Certifications Required; TNCC Instructor Certification Preferred.
