Requirement/Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4+ years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2+ years of prior related experience.
- Requires developing job knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
- Ability to work with complex machines or computer systems.
- Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
- Assist in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment.
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks.
- Make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
- Identify problems and issues in straightforward situations.
- Communicate with contacts within the department to provide information requiring explanation or interpretation.
- Follow established processes to complete tasks and escalate issues to supervisor for resolution.
- Work to achieve operational targets within the job area to support team results.
