Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children’s developmental milestones and challenges. Collaborate actively with families to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that specific needs are identified and addressed. Monitor each child’s progress through regular follow-ups and adjustments to strategies as necessary. Facilitate workshops and meetings for families, providing essential information and resources that support child development and family well-being. Adhere to all Federal and State regulations that govern early intervention services, ensuring compliance in all practices. Build and maintain trusting relationships with families, children, and interdisciplinary team members to create a conducive learning environment. Design evidence-based treatment strategies that incorporate Natural Learning Environment Principles to optimize child engagement and growth. Utilize a coaching model to equip families with the skills and knowledge needed to support their children effectively. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily support young children aged zero to three years who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. You will engage with families, providing tailored guidance and interventions that foster their children's growth, securing a brighter future for our youngest and most vulnerable community members. Your dedication will directly influence the early developmental progress and overall well-being of these children. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work is required. Must possess valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the Department of Public Health. A valid driver’s license is essential for any community engagement or assessments that necessitate travel. A minimum of one year of experience specifically in early intervention services related to children is required. Preferred Experience Demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices. Bilingual skills are highly desirable, enhancing communication with diverse families. Proficiency in documentation and reporting software relevant to social work and early intervention practices. Exemplary organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A collaborative mindset, valuing team dynamics and contributing positively to group efforts.
