Job TitleProgram AnalystJob DescriptionMajor duties include but are not limited to:Serve as a technical expert and consultant to MH&BSS leadership on data management, data mining, and data representation techniques that inform the monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of programs.Works to translate data, including telehealth and my HealtheVet related data into meaningful information for healthcare groups and management.Undergo training to become a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the MH&BSS.Prepares the procurement request packages for submission to the Regional VISN Contracting Office.Manages short-term and long-term complex contracts.Serve as the lead for purchase card holdersResponsible for development, implementation and execution of the records management program for MH&BSS Service Line.Supports ad hoc request for data from MH&BSS leadership, end-users who may be unfamiliar with data analysis techniques.Assure that information on reports and dashboards is accurate, precise, reliable, actionable and used to improve quality and/or efficiency of patient care.Conducts focused monitors and audits of records created and maintained by service lines.Develops and disseminates policies and procedures, as needed, to support and supplement the VA-wide policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
