Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Hydraulics & Heavy Machinery)

Location: Hempstead, TX 77445 (Serving Katy / Sealy / Waller Area)

Industry: High-Volume Concrete Manufacturing & Structural Precast Production

Schedule: Full-Time, First Shift (Monday - Friday, overtime as needed, day shift)

Pay Rate: $26.00/ hour (Based on experience)

About the Role

Core Personnel Staffing Services is seeking a heavy-duty Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a premier structural precast production facility in Hempstead, TX .

This position focuses on hands-on mechanical repair, hydraulic systems rebuilds, heavy fabrication, welding, and mechanical power transmission servicing for batch plants, steel forms, conveyors, and heavy industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical & Hydraulic Repair: Rebuild and repair hydraulic pumps, rams, valves, gearboxes, drive belts, chains, and conveyor systems.
• Welding & Fabrication: Perform Stick/MIG welding and torch cutting to modify, repair, or reinforce heavy machinery, steel forms, and structural plant fixtures.
• Heavy Equipment Servicing: Execute emergency teardowns and mechanical overhauls on batch plants, mixers, and aggregate handling equipment.
• Safety Protocols: Follow strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, hoist/crane safety guidelines, and workplace cleanliness standards.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic, Millwright, or Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist.
• Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of fluid power (hydraulics/pneumatics), mechanical drive systems, and welding/metal fabrication.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair heavy machinery under production plant conditions.
• Bilingual Capability (Plus): English/Spanish bilingual skills are a strong plus.
