Treasury Finance Analyst (Capital Markets)

Our client is a Boston based Alternative Investment Manager currently seeking to add a talented Treasury Finance Analyst to their growing Accounting and Finance Team, this position will straddle both Accounting and Finance responsibilities. Ideal candidate must be confident with both the Corporate Accounting and general Finance responsibilities; including but not limited to the following: Responsibilities Assist in preparing monthly journal entries/cash accruals and wire transfers Perform in-depth financial analysis of corporate treasury entities through balance sheet reconciliation, income statement review, and cash flow evaluation. Processed weekly wire instructions across capital calls, subscriptions, and ad hoc client requests Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable sub ledgers Responsible for reporting and culminating cash reconciliations and analyzing breaks Perform daily general ledger functions such as cash account reconciliation Prepare daily cash reconciliation / P&L reporting Perform financial statement preparation, cash and position reconciliations, entering income/expense accruals, preparing capital allocation schedules, and sending investor correspondence regarding account balances Produce investor reporting requests including capital calls, distributions, and fund reporting Collaborate with CFO/Controller on preparation of firm reporting and intracompany reconciliation process Work with our tax department to provide information required in connection with various tax return filings Desired Skills and Experience Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of (Accounting/Audit) industry experience CPA or CPA in progress not required Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management Technical skills; Advanced Excel/Great Plains/Hyperion/SAP or similar Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Coda Search│Staffing
