Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Markesan, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Full-Time
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living, and Outpatient Services
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift) with one weekend rotation per month

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility programs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to facility policies, regulatory standards, and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Wisconsin PTA license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply.
