Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner

Salary Range: $85k $105k (based on experience)

Are you a passionate clinician eager to make a difference in the field of gastroenterology? We re seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our client s dynamic GI department, serving patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a respected medical center in New York.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Partner with gastroenterology physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Conduct specialized diagnostic tests and assessments for patients presenting with gastrointestinal concerns.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress and evolving needs.
• Deliver patient education, including disease prevention and self-care strategies, to empower those you serve.
• Maintain meticulous medical records using charting systems and documentation best practices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to drive quality outcomes and efficient care delivery.
• Ensure medical documentation of patient encounters, treatments, interventions, and results is consistently accurate and timely.

Who We re Looking For:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State (required)
• Graduate of an accredited NP program at the master s level
• At least 5 years acute inpatient experience
• 3+ years as an NP (preferably in GI, or in adult/family practice)
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued
