Job Title: Associate Veterinarian – Small Animal & Mixed Practice (Florence, AZ) Position Overview As our lead clinic veterinarian, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping our new small animal facility while providing care for both companion animals and small livestock. Florence is a growing rural town (population ~20,000) located in beautiful Pinal County, offering a blend of small‑town charm and proximity to larger amenities. This position is ideal for a self‑motivated veterinarian who enjoys building relationships in the community and wants to help create a thriving local practice. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animals (dogs, cats, etc.) Diagnose and treat small livestock (goats, pigs, cattle, etc.) Help design, equip, and set up the new clinic according to your professional vision Build lasting client relationships and establish yourself as the trusted hometown veterinarian Collaborate on practice growth strategies, including future expansion and integration with our mobile livestock services Maintain excellent medical records and follow best‑practice standards Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (post‑graduation) Experience with small livestock highly preferred Arizona veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Strong surgical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and client‑service skills Self‑starter who is comfortable working independently (no mentoring program available) Passion for community‑based practice and willingness to live in or near the Florence area #J-18808-Ljbffr VCA Seaside Animal Hospital
