Lab Assistant Certified

*Job Summary and Responsibilities* As our Lab Assistant, you will play a crucial role in solving diagnostic mysteries, bringing us one step closer to effectively treating patient illnesses and injuries. Every day you will utilize your expertise and our advanced technology to precisely collect, prepare, and process a diverse range of patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) for various diagnostic tests. To be successful in this role, you will possess a foundational understanding of laboratory procedures, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and maintain an eager commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Job Specific Duties for all Lab Assistants 1.1 - 1.10, Job Specific Duties for specific areas are as follows: Phlebotomy 2.1 -2.5, Processing 3.1 - 3.4, Pre/Post Analytical Duties 4.1 - 4.7. Evaluation based on direct observation of routine performance, monitoring entry of information in the Laboratory Information System, review of records and logs, direct observation of performance of instrument maintenance and function checks, assessment of technical and problem solving skills, and co-worker/customer feedback. Metric is identified as an action. Metric is evaluated by criteria that E = exceeds, M = meets, or DNM = Does not meet the desired performance.
