HCSS Customer Services Coordinator (Graphic Design & Printing)

Job Opportunity

Energetic, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Coordinates and performs daily office operations to provide excellent customer service to our UTMB clients. The position requires strong customer service and record keeping skills. This position is a client liaison for a wide range of print media services and products for UTMB and its customer base.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Customer service liaison, ensure prompt and efficient responses to customer requests
• Primary front desk person, answer phones, job entry and routine estimating utilizing Print Management Software.
• Runs cost reports, prepare customer and internal spreadsheets, filing and records retention.
• Oversee shipping and receiving of outgoing and incoming packages.
• Promote/Communicate to customers about benefits of utilizing Graphic Design & Printing Services
• Adheres to internal controls established for department
• Performs related duties as required

Additional Support:

• Deliver and/or retrieves materials as instructed
• Assist production staff as needed

Required Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of related experience.

Must have proficiency with cross-platform use of PC applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

Equipment:

Standard office equipment

Operation of university vehicles, trucks or vans.

Working Environment:

Standard office and print production environment

Continuous reaching, standing and moving.

Ability to move and lift up to 30 lbs.

• This is a contract position through UTMB HealthCare Systems Staffing (the in-house staffing agency for UTMB). No benefits are associated with this position.

Compensation

• Hiring Range: $21.50
