Assistant Project Manager

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our construction project management team. This role will assist with project setup, coordination, documentation, client communications, estimating support, and day-to-day project administration. The ideal candidate has prior construction industry experience and is proficient in Procore and Bluebeam.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination
  • Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction projects.
  • Assist with project setup and maintenance within Procore.
  • Track project milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project documentation and administrative workflows.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Assist with meeting coordination and follow-up communications.
  • Ensure project updates and documentation are communicated accurately and on time.
• Estimating & Takeoffs
  • Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam.
  • Assist with estimating activities and bid preparation.
  • Review plans, specifications, and project documents.
  • Support budgeting and cost-tracking efforts.
• Documentation & Compliance
  • Manage project documentation, permits, and compliance records.
  • Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Ensure all project files are properly maintained and organized.
• Project Management Support
  • Assist project managers with day-to-day project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Support reporting and performance tracking activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in construction project management, estimating, or project coordination.
• Proficiency with Procore.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Estimating background or experience performing takeoffs.
• Experience supporting commercial or residential construction projects.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and project controls.

Compensation

• $1,000 - $1,500 a month
• 100% REMOTE
• $50 birthday bonus
• $200 testimonial bonus
