This also includes ensuring these activities are occurring and documented for faculty Adhere to Concorde policies and accreditor standards Ensure the safety of the department meets legal and regulatory guidelines and standards of the program Conduct and document regular department staff/faculty meetings Ensure faculty files are maintained and complete as per the Academic Dean’s requirements Assist with ongoing review and development of program curriculum Ensure that all appropriate surveys are conducted timely and reviewed effectively Provide regular performance feedback, including formal classroom observations, to all faculty as appropriate and be open to coaching from Academic Dean Advise, coach and mentor students as appropriate and necessary Provide support and supervision to ensure programmatic and institutional completion, licensure and placement outcomes are met Ensure compliance with all requirements of programmatic and institutional accreditors including advisory committee meetings, scheduled and unannounced visits, annual reports, self-studies, and response Review and ensure accurate and timely course, student, and faculty scheduling Assist with and attend graduation as requested Teach classes as and when necessary and as permitted by any programmatic accreditor Assist with student orientations Participate in the budgeting process and supervise procurement to ensure that program needs are met Review and assist with implementation of the Satisfactory Academic Progress process, including grade audits and timely completion of student advising Perform other duties, as assigned

The Program Director must have knowledge of the respiratory therapy field and the clinical application of the classroom knowledge. The Program Director must have management and communication skills and the knowledge and ability to judge instructors’ competence. The position requires a strong attention to detail and a positive professional attitude. The knowledge and skills of computer applications have become an essential component of performing the duties required of the Program Director. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Minimum of four years clinical experience as an RRT Two years’ experience in a CoArc accredited program as an educator or clinical preceptor Minimum of bachelor’s degree Must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential Must hold a current state license Join the Mission: At Concorde you're a partner in shaping healthcare's future.
