Warehouse Associate

Volt is immediately hiring Warehouse Associate in Winchester, Virginia. As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

• Be comfortable unloading and placing incoming inventory items and receiving incoming orders.
• Be comfortable picking and filling orders from stock, assembling and packaging products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Be comfortable ensuring orders are shipped accurately and in a timely manner, and examining outgoing shipments.
• Be comfortable keeping the warehouse clean and orderly, and following all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
• Be comfortable bending, twisting, pulling, standing for full 8-hour shift.
• Be comfortable with 50 lbs. lifting.
• Be responsible for operating forklifts, unloading trucks, and storing materials safely.
• Be responsible for pulling orders, wrapping/banding materials, and preparing shipments.
• Be responsible for assisting coworkers and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.

This is a full-time, contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 year sit down forklift
• 1 year warehouse shipping and receiving
• Follow task/instructions within a timely manner

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Warehouse operations background including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory.
• Inventory management experience for accurate tracking and organization.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
