Requires lifting up to 25 – 55 lbs. continuously.Required to assist in dumping of product at deck as needed. Requires pushing/pulling 100+ lbs.Required to assist as packer operator as needed.Completes paperwork as needed.Must maintain integrity of raw materials.Must assist in inventory and cycle countsKeeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.Other duties as assigned by supervisorQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.Minimum of 1 year packaging experience within a food manufacturing environment.Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of stand up forklift and load move system.Approximately 2 years previous experience in a forklift position/operation is preferred.Work EnvironmentThe job is performed in the production area where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.DisclaimerThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
