Registered Nurse - Level II Trauma NT/SICUThis is a 13-week contract position.Night shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 1900.We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Level II trauma Neuro/Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit (NT/SICU) that specializes in managing neuro and trauma patients. The unit comprises 12 beds with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. The nurse will be responsible for the care of patients requiring advanced interventions including intracranial pressure (ICP) monitors, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and lumbar drains. The position may require floating to the Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Medical-Surgical units as needed.Provide high-quality nursing care to trauma and neuro patients.Monitor patients using ICP monitors and CRRT.Manage care for patients with lumbar drains.Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.Float to other units as required.Must have at least 5 years of acute critical care experience.Must have EPIC charting experience.Must possess current California RN license.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.Previous traveler experience preferred.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
