Job Title: RN Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:30 AM - 07:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: MD or compact state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Must be able to provide pre, intra, and post cardiac procedure care for left and right heart catheterizations, PCI (primary and elective), IABP, lithotripsy, atherectomy, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemakers, TEE, CV, dobutamine stress echos, conscious sedation administration, CRM device implants, EP studies, and ablations. Description: Cath Lab RN needed to provide care in a fast-paced environment. Schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM. There are two labs with procedures; one caters solely to EP. Typical staffing includes 6-7 nurses for pre/post and intra procedures, along with 4-5 CCL techs. EP procedures are performed only on Tuesday, Thursday, and some Friday afternoons. There are three main interventionalists with one RN vacancy due to relocation and another going on maternity leave. On-call duties are required and personnel must stay within a 30-minute response time to the hospital. Weekend on-call rotation occurs every fourth weekend, with weeknight on-call varying.
