What You Will Do Read and accurately identify the customer's needs per the Work Instruction Document Take necessary measurements and mark garments for alterations, with the ability to problem-solve individual sizing issues Operate a heat press safely and efficiently Perform uniform sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy and efficiency, to include taking up stride, lengthening/shortening tails on shirts, tapering shirts, adjusting waists, hemming trousers, mending tears, replacing zippers, applying patches, applying name strips, applying striping, and applying patches Operate industrial sewing machinery and meet production deadlines Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs What You Will Bring High school diploma or GED equivalent required Previous experience in Alterations preferred. GALLS will train! Well-versed in industrial Sewing machines, preferred. GALLS will train!
