RMJ Consultant LLC · Houston based, partially remote, United States · Full-time · Monday–Friday, U.S. business hours (CST)

RMJ is hiring a High-Ticket Sales Closer to turn qualified conversations into paying clients. This is a closing role, not an appointment-setting role: our ads, webinars, and appointment-setting team put qualified prospects on your calendar.

You'll own each opportunity from discovery to close, follow up with prospects who don't decide on the first call, and hand closed clients to our onboarding team. You'll work alongside our senior closer as part of a small, fully remote team.

What you'll do

• Run scheduled sales consultations by phone and Zoom with business owners and high-income professionals.
• Lead discovery to understand each prospect's finances, goals, urgency, and needs, then match them to the right RMJ service.
• Present high-ticket offers, handle objections on price, timing, and trust, and ask for the decision.
• Follow up consistently with qualified prospects who don't close on the first call.
• Log every call, outcome, objection, and next step in GoHighLevel, our CRM.
• Hand off each closed client to onboarding with complete notes on what was discussed and promised.
• Refer technical tax or funding questions to our professionals instead of answering them yourself.
• Share feedback with leadership on lead quality, common objections, and lost-sale reasons.
• Show up reliably for every booked call and flag schedule changes early.

What this role is not

This is not a cold-calling, LinkedIn prospecting, marketing, tax preparation, or admin role. You may help with occasional follow-up prospecting, but your focus is: qualified opportunity → sales conversation → follow-up → closed client.

Who you are

• 3+ years of sales experience, including personally closing deals, not just setting appointments.
• A proven record of closing by phone or Zoom, with numbers to back it up.
• Skill at consultative discovery and at uncovering the real reason behind an objection.
• Comfort discussing pricing and asking for the sale.
• Disciplined follow-up and the ability to manage many open opportunities without dropping next steps.
• Comfort having your numbers reviewed every week.
• Dependability and proactive communication in a remote team.
• A clear, professional presence with business owners and decision-makers.
• Comfort with tools like GoHighLevel, Calendly, Slack, and Zoom.
• U.S.-based and available Monday–Friday during CST business hours.

Strongly preferred

• Experience closing offers of $3,000 or more.
• Experience selling tax, accounting, financial, business funding, or consulting services.
• Experience selling to business owners, entrepreneurs, or executives.
• Experience closing leads from webinars or paid ads.

Tax experience is a plus, not a requirement. A track record of closing matters more.

How success is measured

Success is measured by revenue, not call volume. Weekly KPIs include:

• Show-to-close conversion rate
• Revenue closed and collected
• Average deal value
• Follow-up conversion
• Pipeline health and accuracy of sales records
• Quality of handoffs to onboarding

Your first 90 days

• Complete RMJ service and sales-process training.
• Shadow live calls with our senior closer, then take calls with a debrief after each one.
• Learn our qualification criteria, CRM tracking, and onboarding handoff.
• Show measurable progress toward conversion and revenue targets.

Compensation and schedule

• Base pay: $2,000 per month.
• Commission: uncapped, earned on revenue from clients you personally close. Full terms are shared before your start date.
• Schedule: full-time, Monday–Friday, U.S. business hours (CST), some remote days after probationary period
