Working alongside nurses and the interdisciplinary care team, you'll play a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life while making a meaningful difference with every shift. Responsibilities Provide compassionate, hands-on care by assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, eating, and mobility. Obtain, record, and report vital signs, intake and output, weights, and other observations, promptly communicating changes in residents' condition to the nursing team. Assist residents with safe transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises using proper body mechanics and mechanical lifting equipment when appropriate. Respond promptly to resident call lights and provide timely assistance while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. Assist with meal service, feeding, hydration, and nutritional support in accordance with each resident's care plan. Maintain clean, organized, and safe resident rooms and care areas while adhering to infection prevention, isolation, and standard precaution protocols. Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental status, documenting care provided in accordance with facility policies. Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to support high-quality, person-centered care. Follow all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining resident privacy and dignity at all times Requirements Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New York State Eligibility to work in the United States Reliable transportation Ability to work within 25 miles of the facility where you are assigned Recent experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus Availability for day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts is a plus Benefits We offer: Immediate Openings Paid Sick Leave Flexible Schedule Bonus Programs ($3,000 Sign-On Bonus!)
