As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol and Access Control in York, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with integrity and teamwork to put people first every day.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and operations location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify approved entry, and report maintenance, traffic, and/or operational issues observed during patrols.
• Support site operations by following post orders, preparing incident reports, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner during varying shifts and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
