That's why our drivers build long-lasting careers with us. /n /n Benefits you can count on: /n /n /n - Pay Rate: Drivers make $$83,000 to $85,000 depending on experience. /n - Day 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance. /n - Paid holidays: earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one. /n - 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days. /n - Additional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more! /n /n What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: /n /n /n - Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition. /n - Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery. /n - Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises. /n - Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions. /n - Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises. /n - Other duties as assigned. /n /n Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate: /n /n /n - At least 21 years of age /n - Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) /n - At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience /n - Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications /n - This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
