Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Role Overview: Provide direct patient care in an urgent care setting, focusing on evaluating and treating minor acute illnesses and injuries. Key Responsibilities Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assist in accurate diagnosis. Perform medical procedures as necessary for patient treatment. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to patient needs. Counsel patients on treatment options, wellness, and prevention strategies. Coordinate ongoing care and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient management. Qualifications And Skills Proven ability to evaluate and manage minor acute illnesses and injuries. Competence in ordering diagnostic tests and performing medical procedures. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and prescribing protocols. Excellent patient communication and counseling skills.
