Shelter Access Advocate — Evenings & Weekends

Simpson Housing Services is looking for an adaptable employee to provide assessments and placements in Hennepin County single adult shelters. The position will assist individuals to navigate the shelter system and requires a commitment to racial equity and social justice. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is needed, along with teamwork and communication skills. The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in Human Services or related field, demonstrates knowledge of de-escalation techniques, and preferably speaks Spanish.
