POSITION: YOUTH SOCCER COACH/INSTRUCTOR (PART-TIME)- Afternoon Availability

BENEFITS/PERKS:

• $20-$30/hour after completing ~2 week paid training (training paid at $15/hour)

HOURS: We are primarily seeking candidates who are available for afternoon sessions, generally from 2:30–5:30 p.m. Limited opportunities for morning sessions may also be available based on site needs and enrollment. Session times may vary.

Soccer Shots is a youth soccer organization with a focus on building character through weekly soccer sessions. Our goal is to make a positive impact on every child we coach and provide a remarkable experience for our families on and off the field. Our team of 80+ coaches is committed to our four

POSITION DETAILS
Soccer Shots offers noncompetitive, introductory soccer classes (“sessions”) on a weekly basis at parks, preschools, daycares, indoor facilities, and elementary schools around the greater Austin area. Schedules are created seasonally (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) and determined based on one’s availability and location. We are primarily seeking coaches with afternoon availability. Coaches must be able to commit to an entire season schedule with priority given to those who are available at least 3 half-days out of the week (or a minimum of 8 hours a week). Morning and midday availability is a plus, but our greatest need is for coaches who can consistently work afternoon sessions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License
• Pass an FBI Criminal Background Check
• Fully authorized to work in the US without restriction
• Currently live in the greater Austin metropolitan area
• Currently certified or able to become CPR & First Aid certified 
• Coaching or childhood education experience preferred
• Spanish proficiency/fluency is a plus
