The following duties are typical for this position. This list is not to be interpreted as all-inclusive.

• Sprays herbicide and insecticide chemicals.
• Performs concrete work.
• Performs work with road crew.
• Patches pot holes.
• Grades elevations.
• Repairs signs, fences and watergates.
• Repairs Bridges
• Mows County ditches and road easements.
• Performs shop duties and utility person duties as needed.
• Held accountable for equipment and uniforms issued.
• Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1 year job related work experience.
• Good driving skills and valid Texas Driver's License.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with other employees.

Starting Salary Range: $18.31 - $22.89 hourly based on qualifications
