Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Variable Workdays | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery and provide pre- and post-operative care in a Day Surgery / PACU setting
• Deliver age-specific care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Support a range of surgical service lines including Medical/Surgical, Cardiovascular, Oncology, Orthopedics, Neuroscience, and Bariatric
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Participate in on-call requirements as scheduled
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas - temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Day Surgery / PACU experience
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience providing age-specific care for adolescent (13-17), adult (18-65), and geriatric (65+) populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Background across multiple surgical service lines (Cardiovascular, Oncology, Orthopedics, Neuroscience, or Bariatric)
• Strong interpersonal and patient-facing communication skills
